The digitalmarketing specialization offered by Internshala is a complete beginner to advance level course with placement guarantee and hence it is also known as Placement guarantee course, which provides in-depth knowledge of all aspects of digital business. About the Instructor:

The instructor, Mr. Amitabh Verma, is an ex Google employee and an IIM graduate. He is the founder and CEO of AMP Digital solutions.

Course Curriculum:

The course is divided into 6 small courses with 3 mandatory projects.

Blogging and Google Analytics

This course includes a detailed explanation of blog creation and connecting it to Google Analytics. You will be asked to create a blog on blogger and then to connect it with Google Analytics. The instructor will guide you through the steps. Then they will teach about Google Analytics in detail from beginner to advance level. You will be made to understand the advance GA reports, create views, apply filters, create custom dimensions etc.

Finally, you will be asked to submit a free certification (Google Analytics Individual Qualification) from Skillshop. For this, you will be required to give exam and qualify it. Then submit the certificate on the dashboard.

The project will include all the things taught in the course.

Content and Email Marketing

This course contains two different concepts. Content or Inbound marketing and Email marketing. You will be taught to build content strategy based on inbound marketing concepts. Later, you will be taught how to create a mailer list, send emails in bulk etc. You will also be taught to create buyer personas for your own blog. This course also requires a mandatory certification i.e. Inbound certification from Hub spot. The project will include content plan creation, buyer personas, email campaigns etc.

SEO

is course contains a detailed explanation of all the important aspects of both on and off page SEO. All the important tools used by professionals have also been explained and shown how to use them for audit.

This course has a mandatory project of auditing a website of your choice.

Google Search

The Google search ads course contains all the important topics related to Google ads. It will teach you how to make ads, how schedule an ad, how to target keywords, how to pay for an ad etc. It’s a complete beginner to advance level course and covers all the important aspects.

The project includes campaign and ad creation in Google ads account.

Google Display

This is a separate course containing topics related to display ads in Google. The project includes ads and strategies creation.

Social Media Marketing

Now, this is a very detailed course covering 4-5 different social media platforms. This course covers Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked, and Quora & Pinterest. The course explains the working of these platforms and their importance. The course also teaches to create posts on these platforms and market their posts, products, services through ads. All the parts are explained in detail.

Projects:

As mentioned below every course, the projects are industry based and cover everything taught in the course.

  • For the first project, you will be asked to create a blog on Blogger and then connect it to Google Analytics account. Then finally, promote the blog well and receive some readers. Analytics will track that data. You can take screenshots and submit the data as a project.
  • For the second project, you will be asked to create 2 buyer personas for your blog users, content plan and an email marketing plan. Then create 3 mailers in Mailchimp and send to your contacts.
  • For the third project, you will be asked to use tools like moz, ubersuggest, smallseotools etc. and audit a website. Then present the reports as project.
  • For the fourth project, you will have to create search campaigns, ad groups and ads in Google ads and present the screenshots.
  • Fifth project will require you to create strategies for AMP Digital website to build awareness and drive sales. And then you will also be asked to create video and display ads for the project.
  • The sixth project will ask you to create a Facebook page and build strategies to promote it through Facebook ads. Then, you will also be asked to create an influencer marketing strategy.

Not all the projects are mandatory i.e. only 3 out of 6 projects are mandatory but it is advised to submit all 6 projects to score well.

Viva:

Viva is conducted only once in the end. The instructor Mr. Amitabh Verma will conduct viva after the completion of all the 6 courses and project submissions. You can schedule your viva according to your availability. Viva will be marked out of 100. You will be asked very basic questions from all the six courses. Your answers will reflect if your concepts are clear. Basically, viva is a test of your understanding of the whole Digital marketing specialization.

Tests:

The individual courses in the Internshala Digital marketing specialization contains two tests:

Module test: This will be conducted after every module. Its marks will not be added in the final score card. These questions are just for the practice.

Final Tests: This will be held after every course and will affect half of the scores of the final score card. These are more important and you will need to score atleast 50% to go on to the next course.

Quizzes will be held after every small topics to make our understanding stronger.

Fee and Course Duration:

The program fee for all students is around 35000/- INR but Internshala provides a discount of 6000 and the revised fee is 29000 INR. There are no hidden charges, this is one time payment. Duration of the specialization is 3 months or 90 days. However, each of the courses has their own separate deadlines. For example, for Blogging and GA course, you will be provided the deadline of two weeks to finish it. And only after you finish the course you will be able to access course 2 i.e. content and email marketing. This is valid for all the courses. Now, how fast you finish the course that is upon you.

Placement Guarantee:

The placement assistance will start after the viva. If you score above 75% overall (including viva) then you will have to schedule a session with the Internshala Placement team. They will guide you on the Resume and cover letter designing. Give you feedback about the letter you have written (you will be asked to write). Finally, after making these changes, you will schedule a mock interview session with the Internshala placement team and they will ask you general questions (you can prepare them nicely). You will also be provided with all the questions related to the courses etc. to prepare for the real interview. After all this, you will be asked to apply to internships and give interviews. Also, sometimes Internshala team themselves schedule an interview for the candidates and then it becomes mandatory to attend it.

Certificates:

Total number of certificates that you would have after the course completion is 11. After the completion of each of the 6 courses, you will receive a certificate. For example, once you finish Blogging and Google Analytics course, you will receive a certificate and so on. The other four are the mandatory certificates namely, Google analytics individual qualification, hubspot Inbound certification, google search certification, and google display certification.

And the final certificate will be your certificate of specialization.













Honest Review:

I enrolled in the course in June 2022 and finished it by August 2022. I was hired for an Internship on 26 August. The course journey was amazing. I scored 82% overall.

Good points:

1. Course is short and crisp and covers all parts.

2. The tests are of multiple choice questions and only Final test score is counted, which is good.

3. Most questions in the final test are from module tests only, so they are like easy to attempt.

4. Module test are like mock tests.

5. I could ask any question on the Question/Answer forum and my doubts were resolved within 24 hours.

6. Projects are not too hard, just moderate and easy level.

7. Both creative and tech knowledge is required.

Negative points:

1. Projects are easy but do not expect 42+ marks, even if you do the best project.

2. Nobody gets full marks in project and the instructor has his own reasons.

3. Both project and final test are of 50 marks each, hence course is of 100 marks, total 600+viva=700.

4. Live sessions are of 1 hour and in between so many students, it is difficult to get your doubts resolved, hence you only have one option left i.e Question/answer forum.

5. Whole of the videos are in English.

Overall, its a good course if you want to start your career.
